To find the best used mid size SUV you should consider two things, determine why you want an SUV and how are you going to use it. It’s up to your needs and budget that will help you determine the right SUV for you. Think about where you are going to be doing the majority of your driving, city or highway? How many people do you need to carry? How much cargo space do you do?Once you determine what you really need then the rest gets a little easier.Let me share with you the difference between a standard and a midsize SUV, this may help you decide which vehicle meets your needs best. People sometimes refer to an intermediate SUV as a mid size SUV. Mid size and intermediate are the same. A full size SUV can be referred to as a standard SUV. The biggest difference between the two is that the mid size SUV is smaller than a standard SUV.Being that the mid size is smaller you will give up some of the car’s seating, and its storage capacity. However, you will usually pick up better fuel efficiency than the standard size SUVs. The smaller size SUV offers a combination of speed, durability and power, but they are not as good for towing as the standard models are. If you don’t need the towing power, then the smaller SUV will suit your needs just fine.Buying a used mid size SUV can provide you with the benefits and features of the newer models for a lot less money. There are a lot of used SUVs available today with excellent safety features, resale value and reliability.I would recommend any of the following SUVs, as they have a proven track record over time for being dependable, fuel-efficient and safe.Honda Pilot: Leave it to Honda to create a mid size SUV that can carry 8-passengers comfortably and in style.Toyota Highlander: Offers the ride and feel of a car with the storage space of an SUV for all your gear.Hyundai Santa Fe: The four-cylinder Santa Fe only depreciated 67% from its original retail versus resale value, according to Consumer Reports from 2004 to 2008. Dependable and reliable.Subaru Forester: The Forester comes with comfortable seats, sharp handling and a take-charge performance with an excellent reliability record.Acura MDX: First came out in 2001 and shot to popularity because of the trendy design of the exterior, and the all-wheel-drive option keeps people coming back to this classic.Mitsubishi Outlander: The Outlander features excellent fuel economy and it is bold and stylish, which is why it is considered one of the best used mid size SUVs.I trust this gives you a little more understanding and clarity about what to look for in your next used mid size SUV.
Why do Americans eat mostly junk food instead of a healthy meal?We didn’t change our eating habits overnight. Imagine what our ancestors would have said about a book titled “In Defense of Food.” They would never have believed that food needed defense. Today one of the leading indicators of the fix Americans are in is how quickly Michael Pollan’s manifesto sped to the very top of the best-seller list. The book cover tells us – Eat food. Not too much. Mostly Plants.”What other animal needs professional help in deciding what it should eat?” Pollan asks, recognizing the absurdity of the need for his own advice. Two different forces got us here. The first is “nutritionism,” the idea fostered by science that food is nothing more than the sum of its nutrients. The second and more pernicious force is the $36 billion food-marketing industry that turns food into “food-like substances.”Tips from his book: Avoid products made with ingredients you can’t read or pronounce. Avoid products making health claims on the package. Yes, eat plants. But the best of them is: Don’t eat anything your great-grandmother wouldn’t recognize as food.In a poll of Americans who were asked the top 5 reasons why people eat so much junk food:73% said convenience44% said it’s what people like to eat37% said it’s because of heavy advertising24% said it’s more affordable14% said it’s because people don’t know which foods are healthyA lot of reasons we don’t eat right is because of the food industry always finding ways to make more profit. They come up with fast dinners for families on the go. Convenience is what families have come to expect. We don’t have time to actually cook healthy meals for our family. There’s not enough time after we get home from work, help kids with school work, do after school activities and maybe pick the house up a little to plan and cook a healthy meal. Sometimes it’s junk or nothing. Tip: Slow Cooker meals. We find time to shop for the perfect clothes, get our hair done, get together with friends, brush our teeth, and stop to buy that coffee from Starbucks but we don’t have time to eat healthy. What’s wrong with this picture? Food is what makes our body able to self-heal but we don’t have time to feed it the one thing it needs, real food.Shopping for healthy food takes more time and costs more. The processed – boxed – quick meals will be on the center shelves of most grocery stores. This is done on purpose so it’s easy to see – grab and go. Looking for healthy choices means looking from the very top, down to very bottom shelf, skipping over center. Healthy food costs more, at least at first. If you look at poor health resulting from eating junk food the price for healthy food is very cost effective. Tip: It isn’t too hard to make a one skillet meal using whole grain pasta, fresh tomatoes spices and grass fed beef and it will taste better than the boxed Hamburger Helper.Eating too much and too little:It’s not just about what we eat but also how much, too much or too little is unhealthy. So is when, how and why we eat the food we do. Most people think of eating too much and being overweight as being the biggest weight problem for Americans. Some people are so concerned about the way they look so they starve themselves. Anorexia and bulimia are eating disorders in which the person views himself/herself as fat. When they do eat it’s something they like and not likely to be healthy. Eating too much can be from boredom, stress, uncontrollable cravings etc.Junk fast food tastes better than healthy food. Kids are growing up eating junk food so they don’t know what real food is. American’s taste buds wouldn’t know real food because it’s so rare. If it isn’t processed, loaded with sugar, salt, fat and will last longer than our kids because of the chemical preservatives, it has no flavor or doesn’t taste right.Junk food is always available. Look at the check out counters at any store, they are loaded with candy bars, bagged snacks and even energy gum! There are snack machines everywhere, even outside my son’s dentist’s office. What a positive sight when you leave the dentist; eat more candy and wash it down with this Coke. We are exposed to junk food everywhere. Stores are playing on our impulse shopping, besides it’s just a candy bar, right? This one is huge…We are bombarded with advertisements from McDonalds, Burger King and Arby’s to name a few. This keeps food on our mind and after a while we think, hey that sounds good I’m going to make a McDonalds run for lunch. Our kids see commercials for fruit snacks, cereal, chips, candy, pop-tarts or Oreos and pick these things out when grocery shopping. We are being led to eat what is advertised, the whole purpose of the marketing.Keys reasons Americans don’t eat healthy:Don’t like the taste of healthy foodCan’t afford itDon’t have time to cookBombardment of Junk Food advertising from TV, radio, and onlinePicky eatersDon’t know what is healthyProcessed – boxed – ready to cook – just add water – frozen dinners are quick and convenientFamily meals are a thing of the pastLack of knowledge about food:Americans think they are healthy so don’t put thought into what they eat. They think if they’re still alive after always eating the food they eat today it can’t be all that bad for them. For some, it takes a death of a loved one to make them think about nutrition. It’s hard to wonder if better food could have stopped disease. Don’t wait until you are faced with disease to think about our biggest self – healing tool, food..If you still can’t eat right I recommend the Pops, a whole food multi-vitamin to help get at least some good nutrition and stay alive longer.
The glycemic index is one of the newer tools used to measure the “healthiness” of a food item. The lower the Glycemic Index score of the food item, the healthier it is supposed to be. However, this is an oversimplification of what a low glycemic food actually is. There are many prevalent myths about the this Index and Low Glycemic foods that are encouraged by the latest ‘fad’ of low glycemic foods being the ‘in’ thing to eat. Here are five of the most common ones:Myth #1 – The Glycemic Index Measure How Good The Food Is For Your Health:The glycemic index is not a measure of healthiness in any way, shape or form. What it actually measures is the rate at which the food releases sugar into the system and how quickly it is digested. The faster the food is digested or absorbed, the faster it releases sugar leading to a spike in sugar level in the blood. The foods which cause a spike quickly, are given a higher GI score, and vice versa. As such, high GI foods lead to a sudden feeling of being “full” and hunger returns soon afterwards. On the other hand, low GI foods take longer to digest, giving a much longer feeling of being full. Additionally, for diabetics, it is “safer” to eat low GI foods as the sugar level does not spike rapidly and the body can absorb the food slowly. this has no bearing on any of other parts of the food. For example, a food that is generally good for your health, may be a high GI food, such as protein shakes. On the other hand, something with very high fat content might have a low GI rating giving the illusion that it is healthier when it isn’t.
Conclusion : GI rating is just one of the things to keep in mind while organizing your diet. Low glycemic foods are not naturally healthier.Myth #2 – Glycemic Index is an accurate measurement of the sugar content in a food:This one comes from the wrong understanding of the Glycemic index itself. Some people assume that foods high in sugar case a high blood sugar level spike, and therefore have a high GI rating. The truth is, that a food with lower sugar content might actually lead to a higher spike. This is all based on the speed with which the food is absorbed and the sugar is released. Think of this as the difference between sprinting and jogging. You might sprint 300 meters, or jog 300 meters. The distance covered is the same, but the speed is very different.
Conclusion : Two foods with significantly different sugar content may have the same GI score. At the same time, two foods with different GI scores may have the same sugar content. Foods low in this index simply release the sugar slower, not more or less of it.Myth #3 – Diabetics Should Buy Low Glycemic Foods Without Knowing Anything More :The truth is that the Glycemic Index scores of various foods are drastically effected by the way the foods are cooked. For example, raw carrots have a much lower GI rating than cooked carrots do. As such, it is actually MORE important to know how to prepare and cook foods properly rather than simply buying low GI foods (unless they are ready to eat). As such, all diabetics and people looking to adopt a low GI diet should equip themselves with the proper knowledge on how to cook foods the right way. These are just some common misconception that misrepresent what Low Glycemic foods are and how they are applicable for someone’s diet. Clearly, the GI can be a great tool for a healthier diet, but only if it is properly understood and placed in its context.
A multi-functional dry sack, with its heavy-duty construction, water-repellent properties and 5 to 55-Liter capacity, is perfect for the safe storage and transportation of goods in a wide variety of pursuits, tasks, and uses for the outdoor enthusiast. If paddling, sailing or setting-up camp close to a creek, a small to large sized dry bag offers an essential piece of kit, with its ability to seal tightly via its top roll-seal closure system – this ensures items are kept dry, while also providing a decent level of buoyancy if it should fall in a lake or overboard. Some common features to the heavy-duty sacks consist of a reinforced bottom to aid in standing up in rugged terrain, multiple D-rings to assist in attaching to a luggage rack, bike, boat or raft, internal sections to separate wet and dry items, and a see-through construction helps to make searching items in a rush easier.Besides the high-quality dry bags, a lightweight, and compact-sized dry case or wallet, made of super resilient materials, offers the ideal choice to protect such items as cameras, cell phones, MP3 players, Kindles, passports, etc on a beach or out canoeing, snorkeling or poolside. An ultra-light wallet of this nature is made to slip easily into backpack or hang around the neck.Other options in the series of water proof bags include the duffel bag, with its hand-held handle or shoulder strap, resilient 600-denier fabric exterior and seamless PVC interior, to provide efficient waterproofing protection, as well as the similar styled backpacks, which also provide great features and protection. Either choice is designed to cope with a quick submersion – often in the region of up to 3-feet.All in all, a water-repellent dry sack, with its reliable roll-down sealing, is ideal to protect electronics, snacks, clothes, passports/maps, etc. from damage in times of water-borne activities and adventures.
On average 30% of foods in our daily diet are processed foods. These are foods that come in a box or a can and have many ingredients that are hard to pronounce, containing food starches, gums, preservatives, and colorings. Many processed foods have to be enriched, adding inorganic minerals and vitamins to compensate for the nutrition lost in the processing of the food. Some people believe enriched foods are good enough, and we will be able to absorb their nutrients sufficiently to benefit from them. But what about the great increase in type II diabetes in the past few years, seen especially now in children? What about the increase in Attention Deficit Disorder and behavioral problems in schools? Adults are now getting symptoms of Alzheimer’s more quickly than before, and are suffering from chronic diseases earlier in life. The first suggestion I tell parents who are struggling with a hyperactive child is to stay away from any food colorings, especially the added colorings in juices, cereals, snacks, and vitamin supplements. These food colorings affect the functioning of the nervous system. Our liver cannot break down these chemicals and they affect our neurotransmitters, and eventually our thinking ability. It is amazing the amount of food coloring found in processed foods. Significant increases in hyperactivity occur after getting 20 mg. of food coloring per day, which is much less than the amount found in many processed foods today. When food additives are added to natural foods both physical and behavioral problems can occur. The three most common symptoms found when we get too many food additives are headaches, anxiety, and upset stomach. Common food additives to watch out for, beside food colorings, are preservatives, artificial sweeteners, and caffeine. Preservatives are found in all processed foods, and even in some of the natural foods such as fruits and vegetables. It is difficult to get all fresh food unless you grow it yourself. Preservatives prevent spoilage of food so that it can be transported from the farm or factory to our grocery stores. The FDA generally regards each of these food additives as safe, at least in small quantities. But when combining them in foods and then looking at the potential cumulative effect, we have to realize that the more preservative and food additives we get on a daily basis, the more our liver has to detoxify. That is why headaches and bloating are common symptoms of too many food additives.Among the many factors that shape the lives of children, nutrition often plays a critical role. What children eat during their growing years has a great effect on the way they think, learn, and act. Many studies have found, for example, that children with higher intakes of antioxidants, B vitamins and minerals do better in school than those children whose diets are lower in these nutrients. Others studies show that children who are exposed to too many environmental chemicals or heavy metals in the air and water have more trouble learning and remembering, and have more nervous system disorders. The Feingold program is a children’s nutritional program that recommends a diet based on foods that do not contain artificial flavors, preservatives, and food colorings. Numerous research studies found that symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder improved between 50 and 70% of the time while children followed this nutritional program. One study, published in Lancet in 1985, showed that 79% of hyperactive children had symptoms improve when food chemicals were removed from their diet. Then when the food chemicals were re-introduced the symptoms returned. Sugar was found to have a similar detrimental effect as food chemicals. In controlled studies done at juvenile correctional facilities in the 1980s, they found that behavior improved in 47% of the 12 facilities that took part in the Feingold program, which included over 8000 juveniles. Many health issues are caused by lack of bioavailable nutrition in our diet. Our digestive system tries to absorb nutrients from the foods we eat. Depending on the state of the food – baked, broiled, microwaved, or the additives added, our body can actually get more stressed eating foods that are hard for our liver to metabolize. This is why the National Cancer Institute keeps raising the number of fruits and vegetables recommended daily to prevent cancer, and keep our immune system healthy. This is another reason we are seeing earlier signs of indigestion and heartburn in children. The foods we put in our body have so many preservatives, and chemicals, and not enough real nutrition to be beneficial.
Worrying whether or not you were overcharged for your car repair is an awful feeling. There’s tons of advice on how to avoid getting ripped-off, but few discuss the actual car repair prices. We really need to look at the charges on a car repair estimate or auto repair invoice to determine if we’re paying too much. The focus needs to shift from giving outdated and ineffective advice to addressing the specific charges. Are they legitimate charges? Can they be justified by industry guidelines? Now car repair estimates can be confusing. So let’s break it down to get a better idea if your auto repair shop is billing you appropriately.First, a glossary of terms is in order, as the auto industry has a language of its own…Aftermarket Parts: parts not made by or for the manufacturer.MSRP: Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail PriceOEM: Original Equipment Manufacturer. Manufacturer approved parts designed specifically for your vehicle.TSBs: Technical Service Bulletins. Notes and instructions provided by the manufacturer for known and specific concerns (they are not recalls).Flat Fees: services such as alignments that don’t get broken down into parts, tax, laborMiscellaneous Charges: these can include, but are not limited to shop supplies – rags, chemicals, hazardous waste disposal fees, waste oil …etc.Labor Rate: a repair center’s hourly charge to service your vehicleLabor Time: the amount of time or hours determined that it will take to fix your vehicleLabor Description: the step-by-step written details of repairs and/or servicesOk, let’s look at the Anatomy of an Auto Repair Estimate:There are six basic components to a car repair estimate1) Customer/Vehicle Information2) Parts3) Labor4) Miscellaneous Charges5) Flat Fees6) Summary of ChargesCustomer and Vehicle Information
Using a generic “top down” style estimate, the top portion simply contains your personal information and your vehicle’s specifics: year, make, model, mileage…etc, as well as your request or concern. We also want find the shop’s labor rate. The labor rate is critical in determining if you paid too much. Most repair centers don’t list the labor rate. We’ll discuss why shortly.Auto Parts
Parts are listed usually with a brief description, as well as the quantity, and the price. There are three types of parts: OEM (parts made by or for a manufacturer). These are the parts installed by a dealer, although many local shops use OEM parts too.Aftermarket parts are non OEM parts, and there are various degrees of quality, depending on the brand and where they’re made – China versus USA, for example. Then there are Used parts purchased from a salvage yard.To determine if you paid too much for parts, first find out what type of parts are being used. With OEM parts, you don’t want to pay more than MSRP, although most people do without realizing it. Premium aftermarket parts are similarly priced across brands, although beware not to pay more than MSRP, which again, many folks do. Used parts prices are all over the place, so pick the price in the middle.Auto Repair LaborLabor is billed in tenths. So 1.0 equals 1 hour. 1.5 equals an hour and a half.
Labor rates range from $60 to $100 per hour at local repair shops and $80 to $140 per hour at the dealer level. Labor times are based off established industry guidelines, which are frequently abused. If you don’t see the shop’s labor rate posted on the car repair invoice, ask your service center for the rate. Repair shops can manipulate the labor rate (among other things) with a labor matrix. Matrix pricing is a complicated and ethically questionable practice discussed at length in RepairTrust literature. What you need to know is that you can pay as high as $150 per hour rather than the posted labor rate of $105 per hour. Thus, you’ll want to multiply the number of hours billed (which is also often not posted) by the shop’s labor rate to determine if you’ve been charged accordingly. Most labor descriptions are poorly written and difficult to understand. So ask questions. Here’s a “clear” labor description for a 30,000 mile service on a Toyota Camry.Performed 30,000 mile service per customer request, and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. Changed oil and filter, installed new air filter, cabin filter and performed all necessary tests, checks, and procedures, including road test (miles 30,123 – 30,125). Performed lubrication services and confirmed proper vehicle operation. Set tire pressures, and checked fluids, belts and hoses. Note: vehicle is pulling slightly left. Needs alignment Miscellaneous ChargesThe bulk of your car repair invoice will be parts and labor, but we can’t forget about Miscellaneous Charges. These charges can include, but are not limited to, shop supplies – rags, chemicals, hazardous waste, disposal fees, waste oil …etc. The latter of these may be billed out separately in a summary at the bottom of your repair invoice.Very few of these “extras” are actually used during regular repairs. Miscellaneous charges are calculated off the amount of labor hours billed, not the amount of miscellaneous items used.Flat FeesFlat fees can be another very tricky area. Flat fees are services, such as an alignment, which don’t get broken down into parts, tax and labor. This makes it difficult to determine the real and fair price. On the plus side, most flat fees are competitively priced.Be warned however, another term for Flat Fee is called Menu Selling. In other words, you might see Tune Up: $99.99 or Transmission Flush: $89.99. Follow your manufacturer’s recommendations only, not a dealer’s or repair shop’s menu. For an interesting read on this topic, click
car maintenance costsSummary of ChargesThe last part of an auto repair estimate is the summary of charges. It’s usually found in the bottom right hand corner of the invoice. Check it against the charges above to ensure that it all adds up mathematically, as well as logically. This basic estimate outline may differ from your particular invoice, which may have other categories such as “Sublet” or “HazMat.”A sublet charge is added when your auto repair shop uses another vender to fix or repair your car, such as a glass company that replaces your windshield.A HazMat charge may include waste oil or other disposal fees. Just make sure that the charges are warranted, as again, they too are often calculated off the labor time rather than actual need.In sum, understanding the “actual” charges, asking the right questions, and breaking down your auto repair costs is the best way to avoid paying excessive car repair prices.
There is a great sense of satisfaction that comes for you when you have a relaxing and alluring backyard, and sharing your happiness is sometimes a great idea! Throw a party, have family members over for a barbecue – do whatever you like when you have a great backyard to enjoy. Add another sensation to the sound of nature, the fragrance of foliage, and the comfortable outdoor furniture. Put great taste into the mix and you have a virtually perfect environment. Share the love, not to mention the good food!Below I will mention a few, distinctive hardboiled egg recipes for your outdoor parties, picnics and other kinds of get-togethers. If you have an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit or barbeque grill you may consider some of these recipes for at-home, outdoor entertainment. The highlight of many occasions, or at least a significant part of the event (virtually never excluded in America) is the food. Despite the fact that we as a nation are growing more and more concerned about our health and good eating habits, we always want to have a nice selection of snacks on the side. This article will also introduce you to some healthier (but just as delicious) foods to cook and serve at outdoor (or even indoor) special events.First we will start with deviled eggs, an incredibly popular outdoor treat. Popular at poolside parties, barbeque’s, pot-luck events, picnics and much, much more, deviled eggs are delicious. To make the proposition even tastier, I have two recipes for you. One is a less healthy deviled egg recipe for you, and the other is a lighter, healthier version of deviled eggs. Your guests will love to have the option, because some people especially when trying to loose weight – have few options in such circumstances.Mamma’s Deviled EggsThis recipe makes twelve deviled eggs altogether, in halves, lengthwise. Therefore, if you choose, you can use the other six eggs in the carton to make the lighter version of deviled eggs. You will need the following items before you begin:6 eggs2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons of mayonnaise1 teaspoon of mustard3 tablespoons of fried, real bacon bitsChives (optional)Paprika (optional)The procedure is simple. First you hard cook the six eggs and let them chill. Peel the eggs. Slice the eggs in half, lengthwise. Remove the yolks. Prepare the yolks for mixture by whipping them up. It is simpler to create a more creamy mix once you add the mayonnaise and mustard. Mix the bacon bits in with the mixture. Taste the mixture and add salt, pepper, and / or paprika to taste. Add a spoonful of the mixture into each of the deviled eggs. For appearance and / or presentation, garnish your deviled eggs with chives. You can also choose to garnish with the bacon bits instead of using them in the deviled egg mixture. Some people also prefer to use a kind of spicy mustard instead of regular mustard.A delicious as well as a beautiful treat to add to any occasion is the deviled egg tray. Whether you are serving a meal, or simply offering appetizers, these quite traditional snacks are perfect for any outdoor occasion. On the lighter side, you may consider making an alternative and healthier type of deviled eggs for your guests to choose from. Here are the ingredients you will need for the lighter recipe:New Light Deviled EggsThis recipe actually calls for 8 eggs. Therefore, if you purchase a carton of eggs for the party you will need a couple extra . . . or you will need to alter the recipe a bit. Many cooks, such as my self and my mother and her mother before her, like to make their own little alterations to popular recipes. You will need the following ingredients for this new, light deviled eggs recipe:8 eggs1/3 cup of fat free, plain yogurt1/3 light mayonnaise3 tablespoons of pickle relish1 teaspoon of dried, ground mustardPaprika (optional)Take 8 hardboiled eggs chilled. Peel the eggs in halves. Extract the egg yolks. Combine all ingredients together, with the exception of the paprika. Spoon the mixture into the halved, hardboiled egg whites. Sprinkle paprika over the eggs, adding spice and a lovely presentation as well. They are still delicious, and they are definitely still deviled eggs. This great new recipe offers the wonderful taste with about half of the fat and less calories than those you will consume by eating most other kinds of deviled eggs. You will love the taste of your food, and you will love the enjoyment you get from your outdoor furniture, landscaping and overall design even more with great tastes like traditional or distinctive hardboiled egg recipes. From entrées to side dishes, outdoor events such as picnics or barbecue get-togethers require excellent food to enhance the fun and the ambiance of the occasion. There are several recipes for pot-luck get-togethers, outdoor barbeque’s and outdoor home parties. Improve it all with the sweet taste of great foods, the outdoors scenery, the good times that your friends and family members will always remember.

A torch / flashlight is a tool that everyone should at least have in the home. Ideal for power failures the torch will help you see and find the fuse box you otherwise would have great difficulty in locating in a blackout. Just for uses such as this though the torch you require need not be of any great specifications or technology and if only used once in a while then a cheap low quality torch is perfectly acceptable. However there are more uses for the torch than to just sit dormant in the household until an emergency requires its services. If you are an outdoor type then a torch has to be one of your essential pieces of equipment that you never leave home without. And as such an important tool it is to the outdoor type then you must have quality and dependability.Surefire Torches are not cheap but on the quality front they thrive. Such is the quality and dependability of the Surefire torch many law enforcement agencies like the FBI use them as standard issue. Surefire is a company based in Fountain Valley founded in 1979. Originally it was a company just making telescopic sights for weapons but they have now evolved and diversified to make torches, batteries, pens and knives as well. When you look at a surefire torch you can see the resemblance to a telescopic weapon sight quite clearly. The Surefire G2 torch is one nice little rugged versatile tool. It is built to last forever and with it’s body being made of corrosion proof Nitrolon polymer you have to believe this. There are a variety of colours this model comes in and with it being so compact it easily fits in to the pocket or any rucksack for easy transportation. The O ring is sealed and hence waterproof whilst the tail cap switch is so easy to use with just a light press for momentary light or a twist for constant power. This G2 can produce nearly four times the light output than most normal 2 D cell torches. This G2 is nicely priced for what you actually get and because of it’s high quality of manufacture and performance abilities it is actually extremely ideal for most outdoor activities and especially for camping I feel. Apart from losing the G2 or being an unfortunate victim of theft this G2 should last you a lifetime making the price tag even more tempting. Surefire has a whole range of torches, so if this little beauty is not what you are looking for then you must check out all the other available Surefire options just on the basis of their quality and durability.
